From Memorial Day to Labor Day, Lakefront Boats and Bites rents kayaks and paddleboards ($25 for the first hour), canoes ($30), pedal boats ($35) and tubes at the beach near the launch.
Boating at a Glance
The Launch
The park's watercraft launch is for boats you can carry. WDFW describes it as a car-topper launch with no trailered boats. The park brochure notes 100 feet of dock at the launch. Washington State Parks picks Deep Lake as a good place to try stand-up paddleboarding because the water is calm and the parking lot is near the lake, so you won't carry your board far.
The rules on the water are simple: 5 mph, no wake, everywhere on Deep Lake. That keeps it quiet for swimmers and paddlers.
