Millersylvania State Park is open from 6:30 a.m. to dusk in summer (April 1 to September 30) and from 8 a.m. to dusk in winter (October 1 to March 31). There is no entrance fee, but every car parked for the day needs a Discover Pass: $10 for the day or $45 for a year. Campers may drive in until 10 p.m.

The park stays open all year. In the 2026 to 2027 winter schedule, Washington State Parks lists Millersylvania's day-use area and watercraft launch as open and its campground as partly open.

Day-Use Fees

Millersylvania has no gate fee. You pay for parking with a Discover Pass:

One-day pass: $10
Annual pass: $45, transferable between two vehicles

The park has automated pay stations at the entrance and at the ranger station and gift shop. Registered campers don't need a Discover Pass in the park they are staying in. On foot or by bike, you don't need one at all. See the Discover Pass page for discounts and free days.

2026 Free Days

On Discover Pass free days you can park without a pass. The 2026 list runs through the year; the last one is Veterans Day, November 11. Free days cover day-use parking only. Camping, the cottage and the retreat center still cost the usual rates.

Extra vehicle at a campsite: $10 a night.

What Changes in Winter

Campground: sites 1 to 7 and 226 to 248 stay open all year, and reservations are taken all year. The rest of the loops close for the off-season.
Water: turned off from about November 1 to March 31. Winter water is available near the dump station, and the hookup sites keep their water.
Concessions: the boat rentals, taphouse and espresso stand run from late May to Labor Day, so plan to bring what you need in the off-season. See food and drink.

Gift Shop Hours

The ranger station gift shop is open Sunday through Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. and from 2 to 3 p.m. It also sells firewood and Discover Passes.
